Coding for Kids

This training introduces children to the basics of app design, computer science and design thinking. The children will have hands on experience producing their codes and applications using a combination of MIT's App Inventor programming and Google's CS First curriculum. Students learn hands-on with step-by-step instructions for building lots of fun projects. Children will then use the "LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 31313 Robot Kit" to learn some robot programming. Parents ARE STRONGLY ADVISED to buy this kit but do not have to; buying the kit will help the child have practical hands on exploration experience at home.
